We humans with our puny brains cannot even comprehend His power.<span style="font-style: italic;"><span style="font-style: italic;"></span> </span>When we take a look at this passage, we see that He is also a vengeful God. God tolerates so much that we do, but we will not go unpunished. We can obviously see that God's vengeance is not a good thing to be against you in this passage. We aggravate God so much by sinning. When we sin, we directly disobey God and His teachings and tell Him to go away. We need to repent of our sins after we sin (I John 2 tells that Christ is the propitiation for our sins). That is not where God is left, though. God is not only a punishing God, but He is also a loving God! If we are doing His will and keeping His commandments, He will be our stronghold. So, how do we do His will with our sinful, corrupted selves? With His help, of course! If we ask for help from Him, He is ready and willing to help us! Jesus Christ died on the cross to save us from this punishment of God, and we need to thank Him for that! How long has it been since you prayed a prayer simply to praise God? How long has it been since you even read your Bible?! Christ died for our sins and we should do all that we can to thank Him for that.
